I was always fascinated by the beauty of nature. The colors, the scents, the breathtaking landscapes, the wildlife and the freedom they transmit. I found peace in those places doing what I enjoyed the most: taking pictures. I admired every sunset as if it was the last one I would see, and I took every opportunity to live the experience.
My fascination for astronomy began back in 2019. One of the most
beautiful sciences I have ever studied. I started reading informative
texts and taking online courses, but my hunger for knowledge kept
growing. One new moon night, walking through the dark streets of Saranak
Lake, NY, I looked up at the sky and saw more stars than I had ever
seen in my life. In the firmament, still with the winter constellations,
I managed to locate the 3 stars of Orion's belt.
I knew how to recognize these stars thanks to the stories we are told as
children. However, as I looked a little lower, I found what in the
constellation is known as the sheath of the hunter's sword. And there,
in the center star, I saw a red spot, barely recognizable to the naked
eye. I took my camera, and with my longest lens, I tried to focus on it.
Not knowing that I was making my first attempt at astrophotography. The
rest, as they say, is history.

photography emerged, which give title to the collections on this page:
Landscapes, Wildlife and Astrophotography. In each of these prints you
will find my time, my efforts, my dedication, my knowledge, my patience,
my learning and my love for this planet and for this universe in which

Inspiration
My passion for photography is fueled by an insatiable curiosity about the natural world and the cosmos. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the intricate details of landscapes, the elusive beauty of wildlife, and the mesmerizing expanse of the night sky. This curiosity led me to explore these themes through my camera lens, capturing moments that reflect the profound beauty and complexity of our environment. Each photograph is a testament to the breathtaking wonders that surround us, inviting viewers to pause and appreciate the splendor of nature and the universe.
Techniques
1. Landscape Photography: I use a blend of long exposures and high dynamic range (HDR) techniques to bring out the intricate details and textures of landscapes. My approach often involves scouting locations in advance and choosing the optimal times for natural light, such as golden hours and blue hours, to enhance the scene's natural beauty.
2. Wildlife Photography: Patience and stealth are key in wildlife photography. I employ fast shutter speeds and telephoto lenses to capture animals in their natural habitats without disturbing them. My background in astrophysics helps me understand light and motion, which is crucial for photographing dynamic wildlife scenes.
3. Astrophotography: Leveraging my knowledge of astrophysics, I utilize specialized equipment and techniques to capture the night sky's wonders. This includes using wide-angle lenses, high ISO settings, and precise tracking mounts to photograph celestial objects and phenomena with clarity and detail.
Career Highlights
I hold two master’s degrees, one in Computer Engineering and another in Astrophysics, which provide a solid foundation for both the technical and scientific aspects of my work. My background in Electrical Engineering further enhances my understanding of imaging technologies and equipment. Recently I decided to share my work with the world, and I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed taking these shots.
